Not seen any other source reporting this nor the government website.

Also, the article looks confusing many things. So my assessment it is BS.

These are "leaks" from the Home Office, not attributable and the cynic might say it's in support of the anti-immigration agenda - the PM has talked about it this week. Until it's enacted in law we won't know. Nationality law needs to be changed through parliament as well so that could take a while.
