SWV dependent in country renewal via IDV app - are there delays?

Hi all,

Beginning to notice a bit of a pattern on some online trackers where people doing their biometrics in person are getting their visas quite rapidly, but app people seem to still be waiting (the ones positing online anyway). This is quite annoying as we were kind of forced into using the app for a dependent application.

My skilled worker renewal was done priority via app biometrics very quickly, which does suggest most app applications go alright.

Submitted: 30th March

Approval: 3rd April

My partner’s PBS/SWV dependent visa was submitted via app by standard processing (only kind available via app for dependents)

Submitted: Evening of 3rd May

Approval: awaiting (about 5 weeks in)

Desperately need this done by 8 weeks so currently losing my mind. I know there's still time but the limbo is very frustrating.

Anyone having luck with standard IDV app biometric applications in country? Ideally ones in May?

Hello. I am in the same boat as you. Applied via app on 15th May but still waiting for the decision. I need decision within 8 weeks as my travel tickets are already bookd and I am in no position to afford additional ticket cost
