Student Visa Delay _ FREAKING OUT

Post by lordahin » Wed Jun 21, 2023 11:54 am

Hello guys.

I am applying for student visa with my wife for September intake.

I have applied for a student visa along with my wife as my dependent from IRAN and it has been 38 days (27WD) that we did not get any decision. the emails come from the Sheffield UKVI that just says your application is under consideration. I sent the paid emails too , but having passed about 8 days any thing hasn't changed...

now it has been 40 days (6 weeks) and almost all of our friend who have been in VFS at that time got their visa , but not us :(

Any one can help me?

It's a bit of patience you will have. Was it priority application?
Time line of others can only be used to gauge, does not mean your will mirror theirs.

It was standard. others experience tells it might took until 8 weeks. But I wanted to know if there is anything else I can do? Or should I write special text in my emails to UKVI ?

Thank you. I was wondering to write a cover letter and reply to the paid email so that the officer be aware of my situation and escalate my case. is it a good idea?

Why the dramatics? It is not even the end of June yet.

I don't think this will make any change to the application, it will be just a waste of time (and money). There's still three months remaining for the September intake!

Every application is unique, whatever happened to others not necessarily applies to you, need to be patient.
