Naturalization delayed. What to ask for in SAR request?

Hello all,

It has been 5 months since I applied for naturalization. I have a pretty straight forward and clean case (5 year T2 + ILR), hence would like to apply for an SAR and see if I can get any insight into what's causing the delay.

What should I ask for in the SAR request? Should I file for a 'Specific' or a 'Detailed' report?

UKVI haven't yet broken their 6 months' processing target.
You are free of course to raise an SAR, perhaps your approval email will come before you get the SAR results.
Some members have reported on their SAR results, with varying outcomes - perhaps they could comment.

Request for detailed report. Note that like most services from HO these days there is no assurance of a quick response to SAR. Can take you up to 6 months.
