Lost IRP while travelling abroad

Hi
A friend of mine lost her IRP while travelling back home to India. and has tried all contacts but doesnt know where to start. She also emailed a police report on the email given for lost/stolen cards and they also said she has to get a reentry visa. How can she apply for a reentry visa, what visa will be applied and what documents will be required?

Contact local Irish embassy for more information.

It'll be a one-time Irish visa for a purpose of re entry, so she can get on an airplane to Ireland, not sure about the validity. Once in Ireland, they'd have to reapply for an IRP.
