Visiting on expiring visa and returning on another visit visa

Hi, my mom has a 6 months standard visa which is expiring in couple of weeks. She did not travel using this visa yet. We also got a new 2 year standard visa overlapping with current 6 month visa for the last 3 days.

She would like to travel early on her current visa and return after a month. But by this time the current visa would expire and the new visa would be active.

Is this allowed?

Can someone travel on an expiring visa and stay on a already approved new visa of same type?

So far the former visa was not cancelled on the Issuance of the newer, no issues whatsoever.

It's standard practice if you applied for another visa, before one visa expires. The new visa is concatenated with the new one. No problems at all, both visas are valid.
