Never received ceremony email from home office!!

Post by nerdyteddy » Mon Aug 07, 2023 3:14 pm

My wife’s naturalisation application was approved on 3rd July 2023 by email letter .. 5 weeks on and we haven’t received the email invitation for the ceremony! Despite several emails to further nationality enquiries!!

We even asked the council registrar but they haven’t received the certificate! Is it normal? And what to do?

Nothing to do but wait.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

It is August. Most employees of the Home Office, the local council (and indeed of most private organisations as well) will be on leave and things will take longer than usual.

Keep following up with the local council, but I would not expect drastic changes till the start of September.
