Hi everyone, I applied for fee waiver on the 19th of June and i haven’t heard anything yet. Not even a request for further documents. The issue I have is that, how do I prove my right to work? I will appreciate any suggestions please. I'm desperate now because my leave officially expired last week Thursday.
It is well

I applied for fee waiver on 26/05 still not heard anything back not any query or anything, right to work already expired but you can ask your employer to do a check and if application made within time your right to work will be extended for 6 months

Today marks the one year anniversary of me submitting my biometrics and I've still not heard a word from the home office. Feeling so depleted. If anyone has received a positive outcome, please kindly uplift the spirits of those of us that are still waiting by sharing your timelines. Thanks

I can understand your plight because 4th of Sept was my one year anniversary but no response yet.I will explore you to keep pushing or they willnot do anything about it. I have been constantly pushing my MP to her wits.I sent them a medical report of my sick sister back home and they have finally agreed to expedite my case.Even that they reckon they cannot give me any time scale.Fingers crossed

Automated response means they have received your query and will respond in due time.It takes a while to get a response. You just have to be patient.

Glory to God.I got my decision after a year and few days.Just 2 days ago,I threatened them with a Pre action protocol to go for judicial review.I cited that 1year was excessive delay in making a decision.
I got the decision today and this is my 4th extension and the last one.It was a fee waiver so I have recourse to public funds. If you have been waiting for a year and over I will entreat you to threaten them with Pre Action protocol to this address,Public.Enquiries@homeoffice.gov.uk
Good Luck to you all

Applied using FLR(M) form. Had long overstay but argued that ex.2 (insurmountable obstacles) takes place.

Application submitted : 21July 2023
Biometrics: 10 Aug 2023 (£139)
Decision: 15th Sep 2023

Granted!! Put on 10 year route. Didn't expect it so quick. Even the lawyers said it can take long because of ex.2 consideration. Maybe, using FLR(M) form helped as they have shorter decision waiting times?

No fast track on it, you waited till decision, it seems you will exercise a bit of patience more.

Hi you will have to use passport return form, some were lucky to have their passport returned without asking, but is better you formally request for it.
I got my BRP on the 19th I requested for my passport on Friday the 22nd and I got it delivered today the 29th. And the later is dated 27th.

Use the form below.

All the best.

If I may ask? To be on the parent route do you have to be separated from your partner?

FLR(FP) 10 year route 2nd Extension (Child is British and parents are live together)

Submitted: 09 Sept 2023
Biometrics: 29 Sept 2023

Can anyone please tell me if after the biometrics do we receive a confirmation email from the Home Office as proof that the application has been submitted ? I only received an email from UKVCAS. Thanks

No you do not have to be separated from the other parent to depend on the child/children and regardless of your relationship with the other parent as long you are named on the birth certificate, and you can prove you are in the British child life either living together or not but you have custody and you are present like school runs, shopping, family events together, gp appointments, parents school meeting and so on.
I am a single parent and I am depending on my two British children even as the mother I still proved that the children lives with me with GP letter.
