Hello,

I am British passport holder. I acquired citizenship last year. I am currently unemployed and taking job seeker allowance benefit. I lost my job July this year. My brother want to visit me from India. As the benefit will appear in my bank statement, I am concerned that it will affect my brother visa.

Can you please advise if my unemployment and benefit will affect visitor visa approval.

Is he bearing all the cost of the visit to UK and with no reference to you at all e.g. bearing any cost or providing accommodation?
