My spouse ecctis accreditation

Post by KKazmi » Thu Sep 21, 2023 11:01 am

Hi,

For my wife as a partner/spouse visa application while filling we mentioned graduation or BA from Pakistan Punjab Uni. And then in checklist it was to get that accredated with English proficiency letter from Ecctis. When we submitted to ecctis, they said its not equalant to British graduation and they can validate this.
Now, my questions is. What should be next step, either submit checklist without ecctis letter. Or cancel application and take refund and re apply.
Is it extreme necessary to have degree validated. As she is just house wife and not a working women. Please suggest

The degree in your case is used to prove English proficiency.
You either have to show she finished a degree in English (which I guess is not the case) or do an English test.
Read https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa/knowledge-of-english and see if you can book (and pass) an English test before the deadline.

Her degree is in English, but what ecctis says in response that it doesn't match the accreditation of UK graduation. And there is no mentioning of degree is not taught in English.

Why do you need her degree?

If it's for English requirements, it might be easier to do a test instead.

Go for SELT test at level B1 if possible or at least A1 for spouse visa. Usually faster than ecctis processing.
