Expired BRC

Post by tvpaka » Thu Sep 21, 2023 7:26 pm

Hello all,

I was issued a Biometric Residence Card in 11/2017 was expired in 11/2022. I was granted Settled Status under EEA Settlement in 10/2020. Unfortunately I wasn't able to renew my BRC and now I urgently need to travel in the first week of November and I am curious to know if there are any options available for me to travel and return back to the UK.

Thank you.

Unfortunately, without a valid document showing you have residency in the UK, you wouldn't be able to board a plane back. You can exit the UK without any stress, but the stress would await you, when you plan to return.

That's why it's always advisable to have your documents valid and up to date at all times.
