Community resolution

Post by Babus » Tue Oct 03, 2023 9:49 pm

I just received a community resolution recently for speaking to a female in a way that has left her distressed (public order S4A).
I am currently on a student visa seeking to switch to a skilled worker visa.
I have read that a community resolution isn’t a criminal conviction and won’t be on my criminal record.
Do I need to declare this? As I’m scared it may affect my application

It depends what the question asks exactly.

If it asks exclusively about criminal offences, and you know for sure that this is not that, then it does not need to be mentioned. But if either the question or the status of the offence is not so clean cut, best to declare it.
I do not give immigration advice. I refer you to Immigration Rules, guidance, other online content and to your sponsor.
