AN Guidance - best to review/understand this: https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... ne-form-anJill1404 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 15, 2023 10:47 pmHi All,
One of my clients stayed in the UK for 20 years, she got her ILR through 10 years of residency via student visa in 2013 after 5 years around 2018, she applied a British Citizen (Naturlisation) which was refused due to the TOEIC (English Language) now just recently her ILR card was extended and she asked Home Office if she can apply the British Citizen (Naturlisation), they said she may apply. My question here is can my clients apply for British Citizen (Naturalisation) if yes Hmm, if the Home Office says so?
What form does she have to fill out for British Citizen (Naturalisation)? Online: https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... ne-form-an
How much is the application fees? £1580
May I know the duration application outcome? Anywhere between two and 6++ months, the official target is 6 months.
She has good citizenship for example social work here in the UK, completed her MBA and worked in a big corporate firm in a very senior position in the UK
Will her application be successful in this case because of her TOEIC (English Language) before the ILR issue? I'm not really able to say yes or no, just sharing my knowledge and opinions.
Please advise and thank you,
LIUK does not expire, it remains valid.Jill1404 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2023 10:51 pmHi All,
My client got her ILR through 10 years of residency via student visa in 2013 after 5 years around 2018, she applied a British Citizen (Naturalisation) which was refused due to the TOEIC (English Language) that time she had a done Life in the UK Test’ certificate now again she would like to apply British Citizen (Naturalization) as Home Office said she may apply, my question is that does she again have to retake the Life in the UK Test or will that 2013 Life in the UK Test’ certificate be valid still?
Please advise and thank you,
