Post by kidraja » Tue Nov 14, 2023 9:20 am

Hi Everyone

My wife wants to call over her niece from Pakistan on a standard visitor visa.

Can someone tell me what are the requirements and documentation we need to show ?

Thanks

Regarding about my wife sponsoring her and fully supporting on expenses, is it best to mention on sponsor letter:

1 - relationship to her
2 - where she will be staying, e.g. our home address
3 - sight seeing, e.g. Madam Tassuads (wax museum), London.
4 - spending cost (£100 - £200) per month on her.

Anything else I missed ?

Can my wife mention me on sponsor letter that I will help out when required ?

Thanks

Please note that regardless of what documents you're able to get together, the burden of proof still lies with her niece. What does she do back home? What evidence does she have that she'd want to go back? Has she got close nuclear family? Is she self sustaining? What's her travel history like?
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

She finished her studies about 1 or 2 years ago (will get it confirmed).

She hasn’t got a job yet and her father supports the family.

She is the oldest of 5 siblings.

For travel history, she has never traveled out of country before.

The plan is her to visit us only for 6 weeks and do sight-seeing.

Shall I include in application her father, mother and siblings ID cards as nuclear family ? How about ID cards of her grand-parents also ?

So she has no job, no savings (I assume), no property, nothing but her family.
What will be something she would return home to?
