Anticipating New Job

I've been at my current company for 2 years and have all the paperwork ready to apply for British Citizenship (I am Italian) but have just accepted a new job that starts in January 2024.

When I submit the forms do I list my current employer or the next? Is it best I wait to apply until I pass probation in the next job?

Employment isn't a requirement for naturalization - attach documents from whichever job you currently hold, it'll be fine.

I am collecting proofs of employment for the last 5 years, but I was unemployed between January 2019 and March 2019, does anyone think that's going to be a problem? I was renting a flat during that time period so I do have a tenancy agreement.

In 2017, pre-Brexit I applied for a scheme that was available at the time called 'Permanent Residency' but was rejected because during the time I was a student I couldn't prove I had comprehensive sickness insurance, such as a European Health Insurance Card not issued by the UK, or comprehensive private medical insurance.

Does anyone know if this will be held against me when I apply for citizenship?

No, they won't if you since acquired pre-settled/settled status. Only need to mention it in your immigration applications.

No problem about the unemployment, but a tenancy agreement isn't an accepted document. Do you have council tax in your name for that period? Or did you receive a P60 when you started work in April?
