when can child holding ILE apply for citizenship

Could you kindly spare a couple of minutes and take a look at the below query please?

Your help and support will be greatly appreciated.

I am a British Citizen (got it via Naturalization in 2013).

My 8 year old son is also a British Citizen.

My wife and daughter had got Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) in February 2012.

Both wife and daughter were in India from August 2016 till October 2021.

Both wife and daughter got Indefinite Leave to Enter (ILE) in September 2021 and came back to UK in October 2021 to PERMANENTLY live here in UK.

My wife and daughter have NOT visited India or any other country since October 2021.

We have bought a house in Glasgow and enjoying life here.

My daughter is 15 years old as of today.

Question: When can my daughter register herself as a British Citizen please? For how many years she needs to wait please?

I have explored gov.uk site but could not find any accurate info in regard to my question.


Kindly respond at the earliest.
