HSMP - Education Certificates had been misplaced

Hi All,

I applied for HSMP on 15 March 2008; in this process i have submitted all my education original certificates and my Driving License for review. after review has done they had posted me back those documents but this post never reached me on enquiry with HSMP they asked me to apply for reprint(HSMP Approval Letter) after 14 Weeks from the date of dispatch. But they haven't mentioned about my missing certificates and Driving license.

I am not aware of the UK Laws, so some one please help me on how to proceed further and do I have right to sue them or not?

I very sorry to hear about your misfortune, but you can forget about any form a legal action against the HO for lose of document's.

Siggi thanks for you reply.

But could you please let me know why it is not possible to take action against them for there irresponsibility.

Why don't they dispatch them in a courier or post which will provide a tracking#?

As I said before I very sorry to hear about your misfortune, whilst you my try to sue negligence the chances of sucess are minimal.
The HO are holier than thou attitude will ring through.
