Student dependent Visa Application

Dear Moderators,
I came to UK as skilled worker. Now I want to switch my visa as Student dependent as I am recently been married with an international student. Her course finish date is 12th January 2024 but visa will finish on 20th May 2024. I beleive I can apply to be her dependent. My main question is do I need to show maintanence fund for nine months or I can show maintanence fund for remaining five months? Does course finish date have any impact on my visa or it will be in line with her visa date? Thanks

Your partner or child does not need to prove they have this money if they’ve been in the UK with a valid visa for at least 12 months.
