Depositing a cash in hand payslip late.

I will be applying for spousal visa soon and one of my payslips is cash in hand from October 2023 which I never deposited into my bank account. If I deposit the same amount of cash into my bank account now (jan 2023), which will match how much it says on my payslip, will there be any issues?

Simply the months where cash has not been deposited will not be counted. Even if it had been deposited there would be questions.

Payslips are not a prescribed legal document, as long as an employee is advised of total pay and total deductions they can be written on any old scrap of paper. Hence payslips can be easily forged, therefore the payment being matched to the payslip is required to give additional validity.

There is the need for one to corroborate the other per amount and time else one can easily raise fund to meet requirement, pay them as cash in hand, provide payslips, account statements and cover letter stating the cash in hand payments were for particular months to suit ones purpose.
