10 year route family application renewal

Hi all

I m on the 10year route family brp. I have recently applied for a visa extension for another 2 and half years.
I have also thought that you will have to stay on your current job until application is decided on.
Also l have just noticed it does take 12 months for the processing time for a decision to be made.

I do have my UKVI reference number which my current employer have to also check.

I would know how the 10 year route is different from the skill ed visa.
Also, more importantly, can one change jobs on the 10 visa route while waiting for the application to be decided on?
I do know that on the skill visa route cannot change jobs
is this the same for the 10-year route as well?

Can anyone share an HO guide on the 10-year route.

If you're on a family visa, you're free to change jobs.

Employers would have to request an ECS check (see https://www.gov.uk/employee-immigration ... ent-status ) to ensure you have right to work while your application is in progress.
