Skilled Worker Visa Extension Work Start Date is Incorrect

Hi all,

I applied for my Skilled Worker Visa extension on the 8th of January, and I received an email from the Home Office on the next day saying they need more information / action from my sponsor. On top of that, I just realised that the CoS extension start date should be one day after the expiry date of my current Skilled Worker Visa based on the UK GOV website.

Will my company be able to update the work start - work end date on the CoS, taking in consideration I have submitted my application?

For a context, we do our visa application independently (no lawyer assigned) for my company. And they only have a few employees under this visa type thus they might miss something.

Thank you My employer told me they will follow up with UKVI through phone call, meanwhile no email yet / nothing on the SMS.
