Graduate Route (PSW)

Post by Michael*2489 » Mon Jan 15, 2024 11:39 pm

Hi there,

I'm due to apply for the PSW visa but I'm worried about my timeline. I worked nonstop during the Christmas holidays, because of this I took my paid annual leave this month to rest this month.

My leave ends on Jan 30 and I'm resuming work on Jan 31, both days fall under the same week, is this going to count as having worked more than 20 hours a week? I work in a care home and we had an incident at the care home that forced my hands to go over the 20 hours limit by 3 hours (I'm already shitting my pants) wouldn't want to go over the 20 hour per week limit again. If my paid leave counts towards the 20 hours limit, I wouldn't hesitate to drop the shift I have on Jan 31.

When did your course end?
I do not give immigration advice. I refer you to Immigration Rules, guidance, other online content and to your sponsor.
