Not enough payslip for settlement

Post by Chizzy87 » Thu Jan 25, 2024 9:56 am

Hi Everyone,

Am due to apply for my indefinite leave to remain by February, unfortunately my husbands has got only 4 payslip since he started working again 4 months ago. Our solicitor suggested we apply for another visa, he didn't say which one, but am thinking FLR (FP).

He said we can apply for that visa and then withdraw it when we get 6 months payslip, so we can be able to apply for the ILR.

So my question goes, is it possible to withdraw the flr(fp) application when we get the remaining payslips and apply for my settlement?

You do not withdraw. You will apply for SET(M) which varies the previous application FLR application. The issue you could face is that even if you apply this way, the date of your new ILR application will still be the date of the original FLR application and the rules require your payslips to cover 6 months before the date of application
