ILR employers letter and depende

Good day to everyone,

This is my first post as a new member, and I am seeking guidance regarding the application for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) through the tier 2 route. I am currently in the process of applying for ILR, but encountered an unfortunate incident a week ago. I unwittingly agreed to drive a friend's car after they fell ill in the middle of the night. We were in close proximity to home when, regrettably, I was stopped by the police and subsequently discovered that the car was uninsured. The vehicle was impounded, and I received a traffic offence report for driving without insurance.

Despite the fact that the incident occurred, the traffic offence report is pending entry into the system, and I do not possess a UK license, although it was not requested on the day of the incident. The following day, my friend addressed the situation with the police, completed the necessary paperwork, and retrieved her car, incurring 3 points on her license and a fine.

I find myself in a state of uncertainty, grappling with how to proceed with my ILR application. Should I disclose this pending matter, which is far from being finalized and may take longer than the time i am left with.How will this affect my application?I need your advice on how to navigate this issue as i am stressed. I am a first time offender.

Driving without insurance IN10 is NOT a recordable offence and does not lead to a criminal record so it has no effect on ILR

There is no requirement to disclose but you can if you choose to

It should not have any effect on your application.

Hello respected advisers,

I declared that i was stopped by police for IN 10 in a separate letter, however report not entered in the system at the time of application, at the same time the police have sent me an email after i inquired asking me to confirm the registration of the vehicle i was driving as they dont have a clear ticket from their side.Should i ignore the police for not doing their job properly, even the ticket they gave me is not clear as well.

I did my biometrics on sat, its been 4 days-5 days priority, no response from HO.Its like i am going crazy.Your advice is most welcome at this point in time.

The only advice at this stage is to wait for an outcome on the application.

As commented before, a driving offence should not have a negative impact. Many have applied sometimes with more than one driving offence and their applications are successful.

Regarding the police matter, this is something not related to immigration, but you should resolve the situation.

Good day Respected administrators.

My questions:

1. I got my ILR in February throught Tier 2.This month i tendered my resignation to leave end of july according to my contract,however my employer has suggested they might need to inform home office that they issued the emploers letter wrongly.They stated that i was permanently employed instead of writing that my contract will end at the end of July.Does this impact my status anymore or get my ILR revoked?

2. I got seperated to my wife who is no longer my dependant.She said to me she is now on skills permit.we have 2 kids who are my dependants and their visas are coming to an end in July.By this time,they would still need a few months to complete 5 years.My question is do i apply for their ilr or extend their visas so they can complete their 5 years requirement before applying for ilr?And also the status of my soon to be ex wife,how will it affect their decision to obtain ilr.

1. No. Your ILR has been approved and you are not a sponsored employee anymore. Even if they report that, nothing happens as you would have been eligible anyway. The grant of your ILR therefore would not have been affected

2. Children do NOT have any minimum residence requirement for ILR but they can only settle when your wife settles as she is the least privileged parent. They follow her immigration path until ILR. Your status has no effect on them
