Hi all,

I registered a company that has been running for the past 8 years. We are currently going through some financial issues and are considering liquidation as option. I have read that individual bankruptcy can affect citizenship application. Can liquidation of indebted company affect directors citizenship applications?
I will really appreciate any advice.

Citizenship or ILR ?
It can negatively affect a nationality application.

This depends on your personal debt liabilities. A limited company has limited liabilities but again, the home office can consider any factor in the grant of citizenship. They are free to reject any application for any reason they see fit and they are not bound to a specific set of requirements per se
