ILR Embarrassing Timeline

Applied in late October 2023 with biometrics collected in early December 2023, the visa will be expired on 22nd February 2024. I rent a new flat in early 2024 with right to rent code reviewed. But the lettings agency is now chasing me for right to rent code again, regardless the established statutory excuse which is valid for 1 year from January 2024.

a) is there any way that I may chase UKVI?
b) should I bother with the email from Lettings Agency by telling them ILR application is pending? Should I tell them to call HO for manual check of right to rent? Or should I just neglect the lettings agency email (which they are just brunch of naughty and cheeky monsters anyway)?

You should tell them you have a pending visa application and you cannot get a share code.

Thanks for the reply. But can the agency perform the follow up check within few weeks? Also, the agency did not perform the right to rent check correctly prior to the start of the tenancy (did not get my right to rent code due to my British nationality, but not British Citizen). They only got the code and conducted the check after the start of tenancy. I have a feeling the agency would like to cover their mistake with another follow-up check. I wonder if I have the obligations to corporate with such frequent checks with agency, after passing the check 3 weeks ago and the statutory excuse as per guidance has been established.

They can get a verification at any time from the home office. Their mistakes are their mistakes, you tell them to follow the procedures as stated by the home office

There should be no impact. ILR can take take up to 6 months
