I'm seeking advice!
Here's some information about me to provide a clearer picture: I've been living in the EU for 6 years (with permanent residency), holding a Russian passport. I have a permanent job contract with a good salary and €15,000 in savings in euros, which has been accumulating in my account for more than 3 years. My migration history is impeccable. I'm unmarried, but I'm already over 40 years old, so I'm not expecting to relocate to find "love" or anything similar. I've been in the same job for 4 years now, so everything is quite stable. I really want to visit London; my best friend moved there a few years ago, and I just want to spend some time with her.
My visa was first rejected in 2020 due to my mistake in not disclosing the correct papers (specifically, the account statement).
I received a second refusal in September 2023.
To clarify, there are inaccuracies in the information provided above, particularly regarding my salary amount, which is different from what was stated. I want to emphasize that I did disclose all the necessary paperwork. It appears that the officer may have overlooked or not thoroughly examined them. The decision
I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraphs) V4.2 of Appendix V because:
You have applied for a visit visa for tourism and to meet friend.
You are employed as xxxxxxx earning 1750.00 EUR (£1,515.26 as per www.oanda.com on 22/09/2023 net per month. You state that you are planning to spend
1000.00 EUR (£865.86 ) on your proposed trip to UK which is self-funded. I have considered all the supporting information.
You have provided an employment letter and a bank summary certificate from The origin of this summary balance is not demonstrated from your information. You have not demonstrated any regular income from employment
Based on your information, you have no set economic ties in Latvia and I am not satisfied you will leave the UK.
On the documents and information before me, and the balance of probabilities, I am not satisfied that you have accurately presented your circumstances or intentions in wishing to enter the UK. From the information on your application form and the information you have provided, regarding your personal and financial circumstances. I am not satisfied that you intend to leave the United Kingdom or that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor. Your application is therefore refused under paragraph V4.2 (a) and (c) of the Immigration Rules.
3rd Refusal
Again, the statement that I spend more than 500 euros is completely incorrect. I provided all my statements. There was one instance where I made a one-time purchase of 1000 euros for an airplane ticket for a holiday in Thailand, but apart from that, I'm unsure where they obtained that information.REASONS FOR REFUSAL
NRA v 1.0
You have applied for a visa to visit the UK.
In deciding whether you meet the requirements of Appendix V: of the Immigration Rules for visitors (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration ... v-visitor-
rules), I have considered:
• your application and any additional relevant information you have provided with it
• your immigration history
The decision
I have refused your application for a visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraphs) V4.2 to V14 of Appendix V: Immigration Rules for Visitors because:
• You have applied to enter the UK for the purpose of tourism. I note that on your previous application, you were planning on visiting your friend. However, on this occasion you have failed to mention your friend.
• You state that you are employed earning a monthly income €1,132 and state that you have a monthly expenditure of €500. In support of your application, you have supplied documents in relation to your employment and copies of your personal bank statements. However, I note that your average monthly expenditure is significantly higher than what you have declared on your application. As a result, I am not satisfied you have accurately presented your circumstances, leading me to doubt your intentions on visiting.
• In light of the above, I am not satisfied that you intend leave the UK at the end of your visit or that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor. Therefore, your application is refused under paragraphs V4.2 (a) & (c) of Appendix V.
This time around, I chose not to mention my friend, as my trip will be entirely self-funded, and I thought including this might confuse the officer, etc.More over my friend dad died in her home country so she will be outside UK spring month (when i planned a trip) it was 6 months difference between my application, circumstances can change..? From my point its not very logical.
I'm really at a loss for what to do. I'm not sure why I've been refused twice now, and it feels completely unfair. The caseworker has inaccurately represented my financial situation twice.
For this application, I included a cover letter, my flat rental contract (provided by my employer), my permanent job contract, bank account statements showing my salary deposits and expenditures, as well as an account balance of 15k euros.
I'm uncertain about my chances of getting the visa or if there's a possibility to appeal. If so, what should I mention regarding "failing to mention my friend"?
Are there any individuals here who have faced similar issues and eventually obtained their visa? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
