Post by WM058 » Fri Mar 01, 2024 4:27 pm

What will happen to the dependent of skilled worker visa holder when the main applicant gets an ILR?
Main applicant is on Health and care worker visa job code 2231.

What answer do you want to receive?

If dependent is eligible for ILR (spent 5 years on dependent visa), they can apply for ILR. If they can't they need to wait until they can. If their visa expires before they can, they have to get a 3 year extension (or two of them, if needed) for their visa.

Main applicant will be eligible for ILR in next month and dependent need 4 more year to become eligible.

So will dependent be able to extend there visa 4 year and get ILR eligibility after main applicant is on ILR

Yes. They would have to apply for a three year extension twice then.
