Skilled worker dependant partner and child got different visa validity

Post by halley » Tue Mar 05, 2024 9:46 pm

Hi all, I need help here.
I got ILR at the beginning of Jan 2024 on the Skilled worker route. My wife and children did not have 5 years dependant visa on my Skilled worker route yet so we applied for an extension for another 3 years as dependant on my Skilled worker route.

Recently, one of my children received the 3 years extension successfully. My wife received just 3 months extension! and my other child has not received a decision yet.

It's a very strange situation.

My salary is quite far above the minimum requirement. It shouldn't be a factor. But, indeed, I did not submit bank statement documents while applying, since my salary was mentioned on my ILR application.

I think it should be a mistake, but not sure. I have submitted an administrative review but seems no quick response is possible.

I am a bit worried. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Many thanks.

Thanks for the reply.
There's no update from Home Office for either case.
Should I contact local MP for facilitating the communication with Home Office?

Good news, the Home Office has just updated today that they approved the administrative review and will correct the error.
Thanks.
