Good afternoon,
I am an EU citizen (spain) who lived 6 years in Ireland that will apply to the Irish citizenship by natularization. I was wondering;
1- I was abroad more than 70 days last year, do they check this (if one was outside the country more than 70 days) for EU citizens?
2- I was exactly 78 days abroad, would they deny it for just those 8 days?
3- Would be worth to clarify it in the application? Or do you recommend to not clarify it and put less than 70 days?
4- what is the likelihood that they deny the citizenship if I clarify that I was abroad for work purposes?
5 - 56 out of 78 days were for working purposes, do I need to present any work related documents that I was working in that time to clarify it?
6- Does it need to be clarified even if I will be presenting all the residency proof documents (Revenue summary, rent agreement, utility bills, contributions etc)? I was paying rent, bills, taxes, card transactions in ireland etc everything as normal during the period I was abroad.
Thanks so much, I would appreciate your clarification.
