Urgent Help!

Post by iceonspice007 » Fri Mar 08, 2024 11:16 am

Hi All,

I am reaching out for urgent assistance as I am eligible to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) by the end of this month. However, I am facing challenges as my spouse and in-laws are opposing the processing of my ILR. Despite still being in a relationship and not legally divorced, they forced me out of our home, and I have been separated for the past two years.

Moreover, they have extorted money from me, compelling monthly payments. I have made substantial payments up until this month. In light of these circumstances, I am seeking guidance on the best course of action. My documentation, especially concerning cohabitation, is somewhat disorganized.

My Mental state at the moment is not good.

In order to get ILR under the family route you must have a subsisting and genuine marriage. If your relationship as fallen apart or you are subject to domestic abuse then there are other routes. Have you reported any of this abuse ?

To add to the above, if you're a dependant under your spouse i.e spouse visa, I'm afraid you can't progress without her. You need her paperwork and signature.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
