Referee - friend/landlord

Post by Malpha1 » Sun Mar 17, 2024 10:17 pm

Hi everyone,

I am writing to seek guidance regarding the referee information required for my UKVI application.

As per the UKVI requirement, I am required to provide two referees. One of my referees is my ex-landlord, who also happens to be a close friend, while the other is a family friend who works as a pharmacist.

I am uncertain about how to categorize my relationship with my first referee, who is both a friend and an ex-landlord. Should I designate him as a friend or a landlord in the reference?

You can write either friend or former landlord, no issue.
All advice comes from personal research and experience and should not be regarded as professional opinion.
