where to specify?

This board is really amazing and I have been following it for nearly 2 years now.I am now in the process of applying HSMP,thanks to excellent info by all the members.Can anybody throw some light on the following?

Should I mention about the job offer in the main cover letter along with the offer letter from UK employer or a separate cover letter should be kept about the job offer.Also should I specify that my date of joining in the UK is **/**/2009?

I honestly don't think it will make a difference regardless of which option you choose. Of course, you don't actually need a formal job offer for the Tier 1 scheme (as HSMP does not exist anymore), but congratulations all the same!

Regarding the start date, it may be useful if you are requesting urgent consideration, but is not really an issue otherwise.
