Skilled Worker Renewal Query

Hello everyone,

I got my 3 year Skilled Worker Visa (Not in Health and Care Sector) in 2022. I know it is a bit early but I am just getting my ducks in a row before renewal.

Here are my timeline and relevant dates:

- Date of Initial Application: 01/12/2022
- Date of Decision: 08/12/2022
- Initial Visa Validity: From 15/12/2022 to 28/12/2025

Based on above dates, my questions are:

1. When is the best date to apply for my visa renewal?

2. Keeping the required 5-year duration for the ILR later down the road, should I ask for 2 or 3 year renewal COS from my employer upon renewal?

I thiink I am just confusing myself with the dates and hope your expert opinions will help me out. Thanks
