Gap explanation in naturalisation cover letter

Post by YellowMellow » Mon Mar 25, 2024 3:00 pm

Hi everyone,
I'm about to submit my naturalisation application next month based on residency.

I have 93 days gap from 17/11/2019 to 16/02/2020 due to my work permit application from Stamp 1G to Stamp 1. Please note that my work permit was valid from 17/01/2020 but I received immigration appointment for a later date. My employeer applied for the work permit. What can I do in this case?

Also, one of the tenancy agreement don't have any signatures on it. It's from 4 years ago. Is it gonna be an issue?

Thanks

Technically, that means you didn't have a legal stay for 3 months as I assume you did not apply for any stamp. I'm not sure how it'll be treated by immigration authorities - I'd hope for "it's grand" but who knows.
