Claiming Overpaid IHS Fees for Dependent Visa Application

Post by furqan_khan » Tue Mar 26, 2024 11:22 pm

Hello everyone,

I recently applied for a Skilled Worker Dependent application for myself and my two children. However, upon review, I noticed that we were charged an additional six months' worth of fees each, resulting in an overpayment of £782. Now that our visas have been granted, I am eager to proceed with claiming this excess amount.

It's worth noting that our visas have been granted for the same duration as my husband's, yet he only paid the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) for exactly five years, whereas we have been charged for 5.5 years.

Approximately eight weeks ago, I reached out via email to nhsbsa.IHSreimbursements regarding this matter, but unfortunately, I have not received any response yet.

Could someone please provide guidance on where I should write regarding this issue? Any additional information or advice in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,

Thanks for your response.

I'll follow up again on the same email address. Could you please help me with where do I need to lodge the complaint, as I have no idea about that.

Cheers!
