Help needed for visa application SOC

Dear Team,

Greetings of the day!!!

Hope you doing well, I would like to discuss about the Skilled worker Visa

I have received the COS on 3rd APril and was applying on 4th APril and Paid the IHS however when i am going to complete the Visa application form it keep saying that the SOC code is invalid

I have received the code as 2473 Advertising Manager and now the code changed to 2494 .

If i put the new code in the application will i avail the visa as per the old laws and regulations or it will be based on the new rules .

Or do i have to contact with the Sponsor to change the New COS

Please help me out in this regard, I shall be highly obliged

The date of assignment of the COS sets the guidance in place. Choose the updated SOC code and it should let you proceed. The caseworker will examine the two different SOC's to ensure they match from the old to the new SOC list.

As a double back up your sponsor can add a note to SMS saying the SOC is now 2494 based on the updated SOC's
