Apply for child under 18

Post by Butter_cookies » Tue Apr 09, 2024 9:39 pm

I received my citizenship January this year. Now I want to apply for my dependants who had an ILR Oct 2022.
My questions are:
1. Can I first apply for the child only? As I cannot afford to pay for both of them at the same time. If yes is it under MN1.

2. For online application question

REGISTER CHILD AS BRITISH CITIZEN
are either of the parent of the child applying for naturalisation as a British citizen on AN form.

Is the right answer NO? As I’m already British citizen and Dad whose got ILR is not applying for citizenship at the same time with the child.

3. Referee for child? She’s in secondary but been there for 2 years and 9months (if counting the calendar days) so the teachers not known her for 3 years. But if counting for year level she started there in year 7 and now in year 9.

Please help thank you
