naturalisation approvals

Post by alyo » Thu Apr 18, 2024 1:16 pm

Hello

Are approvals only sent on Mondays?

What is the percentage of approvals within 6 months?

Do naturalisation approvals for refugees take longer than others ?

Im married to a Brithish citizen and my children are all British.

Thank you
Alf

I couldn't find any official stats, usual processing time is 6 months. Approvals tend to be sent on Monday (I got mine on a Monday) but there isn't a hard and fast rule about that. Once you apply it is best to be as patient as possible and after 6 months of the application date you can chase according to these steps british-citizenship/6-months-plus-waiti ... 43483.html

Your wife/children being British is unlikely to have any effect on your application as it is assessed on how you respect the statutory requirements rather than your family (of course if you apply under Section 6(2) you need to supply relevant documents for your marriage and passport for your wife).

Naturalisation data I have found a while ago on gov.uk is not analysed by visa route. There's actually just one application form for AN.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.
