ILR-10YEAR RULE

I am in the process of applying for ILR-10 year rule, is it essential to submit 28 days before you get to your 10 year limit? I am currently 10 years and 3 weeks so 3 weeks past the 10year!, please help

Angelmm- unfortunately, you've posted your request in the wrong forum, but never mind!

Applying 28 days before your 10 year period elapses is the minimum requirement for applying under 10 year rule, i.e. the earliest you can apply for ILR is 9 years and 48 weeks into your continuous stay here.

As it's the earliest point of application, you should be eligible to apply if you have stayed here for 10 years and 3 weeks, assuming you meet the other criteria.

I know someone who applied after 13 years of stay in this country, so I'm sure the time-frame in your case is not important.
