Does a referee need to have a permanent address to be valid?

Post by vintek » Wed May 08, 2024 9:07 pm

I've got a referee that I can provide details for however they do not have a permanent address right now as they are moving house. They do have an address but it's not permanent. Would this be accepted in the application ?
They have lived at a permanent address in the last 3 years though as I know that's a field on the form too
Thanks

UKVI don't give guidance on every possible or hypothetical scenario .....
however I would expect that an address given should be valid/permanent on signing/dating the referee form.
Referees need to be traceable. Alternatively for piece of mind find another referee(s) with permanent addresses.
