Citizenship and ccj

Post by Paulaw89 » Thu Apr 11, 2024 7:20 pm

Hi, I had ccj against me on 1/09/2021, date of satisfaction 1/06/2022, paid in agreed installments. It was for private parking notice. Would it affect my application? I don’t wanna wait till September, as I’m planning to leave Uk for 3 months in June, which will affect my 90 days absence.

Do you have anything else that could cast doubt on your good character?

No, nothing I can think of. I mean, I had one speed ticket, but I went to course, so It doesn’t appeal on my driving licence. And I have 1k outstanding in hmrc, as my employer didnt tax f
My salaries last year, but I made agreement with them, to pay that in installments.
I don’t know, what else could affect it, but I’m following law.

Then you should be OK. I would disclose and clarify what steps you are taking to rectify your situation with the CCJ and HMRC.
