Can I get a new job while waiting for a visa renewal? Spouse visa.

Hi all,

My husband has been unemployed and looking for jobs. His visa expires in a week, he's already submitted the renewal but doesn't have an appointment for a month. If he finds something before the new appointment can he still do all the right to work checks or will it flag him for having an expired visa? Please help!

He can - employer can request right to work check from HO, assuming he submitted renewal application in time.
