I hope someone here can help me find the right direction.
10/ 2019, I came to the UK on a spouse visa, as my husband is British.
9/ 2023, I applied for a family visa for my child while he was under 18, but he received the visa until he
was almost 19.
9/2024, I am going to apply for ILR.
My question is, can I apply for my ILR using Set(M) and also add my child as a dependent? If not, which application form should I use for my child?
Thank you!

Please allow me to ask another question.
After completing the set(M) form, including my child’s application form. In the documents checklist given, there is no requirement for the following documents about my child, (However, it is clearly stated on the ILR description page that if the child is over 18 years, evidence of passing the English and life in the UK tests is required.) such as:
a. the Life in the UK Test certificate.
b. the B1 English text certificate.
c. Any evidence that my child does not live an independent life?
d. Parental relationship evidence.
Should I provide the documents I mentioned above?
Thank you!

The forms are not perfect and the document list is not always complete. You should upload all the required documents according to the rules. The document list is simply there as a guide !!

Thank you for your response. I'm not sure what kind of evidence would show that someone is not living independently. Could you give me some examples?

Thank you, Zimba. I have read 319H-SD, but this is under
Part: Children of relevant points-based system migrants or Appendix W Workers
319F. Purpose
This route is for the children of a Relevant Points-Based System Migrant or Appendix W Worker who are under the age of 18 when they apply to enter under this route. Paragraph 296 of these Rules applies to children of a Relevant Points-Based System Migrant or Appendix W Workers.
My question is, are these specific document requirements applicable to Children under 298?

You asked for examples of documents. The family rules say:
‘Must not be leading an independent life’ or ‘is not leading an independent life’
means that the applicant does not have a partner (as defined in paragraph GEN.1.2.
of Appendix FM), is living with their parents (except where they are at boarding
school, college or university as part of their full-time education), is not employed fulltime (unless aged 18 years or over), is wholly or mainly dependent upon their parents for financial support (unless aged 18 years or over), and is wholly or mainly
dependent upon their parents for emotional support

Hi, everyone,
I hope someone can tell me what to do. I have a finger that is always peeling due to work, and part of the fingerprint on this finger cannot be displayed. I have to go to the visa center to collect fingerprints this month. What should I do?
I appreciate any idea you can provide.

Go to your appointment, they should know what to do. Try and call just to make sure.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.

Thank you, just to get to the nearest center, it would take me two days to go there and back.

Hi everyone, TLScontact website now prohibits me from booking appointments myself, and I can only contact with them online. I am very anxious.Has anyone encountered such a situation? If so, how long did TLScontact take to respond? And were they helpful? Thanks for sharing your experience.
