Hi,
I am going to apply for the ILR under the long residence (10-year) route (not based on family member dependant or private life). However, I am not sure what is the earliest date that I could apply.
On Gov.uk, I could see clearly in the guidance that for anyone who wants to apply for the ILR under the 10-year route based on family member dependant or private life, the earliest date they could apply is 28 days before finishing their 10-year qualifying period.
However, when I look at the guidance on When to apply for ILR based on long residence (not based on family member dependant or private life), the guidance says that "You can submit your application as soon as you meet all the eligibility requirements - you do not need to wait until your current visa expires."
So I wonder if I could submit my application for the ILR 28 days before finishing my 10-year qualifying period only based on long residence (not based on family member dependant or private life)?
Many thanks in advance for any of your kind advice.
