Which passport do I use to travel back to Ghana

Dear all,

Please can you help, I am Ghanaian living in UK for over 12 years and have a Ghana passport. I applied last year for British Citizenship and now have a British passport.
I now want to travel back to Ghana for 2 weeks next month, I know this may seem a silly question but do I use my Ghana passport for traveling out of UK to Ghana and my British passport traveling back from Ghana to UK? I guess I dont need any visas or permits?

Do you still have a valid Ghanian passport? If so, use that. If not, I wouldn't know, this query may be best placed in the other countries subforum. You may find this information helpful https://gis.gov.gh/visa_permits.html

Thank you for your reply, yes I have a valid Ghana passport. So I would use valid Ghana passport for travelling to Ghana next month and use British passport for travelling back? thank you

As Ghana and the UK both allow dual citizenship, yes, you can just use your Ghanian passport to enter Ghana and your UK one to return to the UK.
