Visitor Visa

Post by ukvisa2008 » Wed Dec 31, 2008 3:30 pm

Hello,

I have to visit UK for business meetings for 2 weeks. My client is paying for flight and stay.
What supporting documents I should submit for this kind of visa.
Please help me.

Thank you!

You may apply for a Business visitors visa, providing the documents as suggested on the Business visitors application form VAF1C.

Thanks for your response.

I tried to look all the links below. My client will make reservations for hotel and flight after the visa is issued to me.
What evidence can I provide for flights/hotels.
This is a business trip so do I still have to provide the documents about my marriage(the supporting documents) or is it only required for general visitor.

Did anyone have situation like this and can you please share.

What sort of business do you do?
How long have you been doing it? What is your turnover?
Have you customers in the UK and other foreign countries? How much turnover do you do with them?
Have you travelled abroad before?
What company(s) do you intend to visit on this trip? What do you expect to achieve?

These are the sort of matters which the ECO will need to be sure about before he grants you a visa as a business visitor.

I think I didn't sound right last time.

I am applying for Business visitor visa which is different from the Business visa as per my understanding(correct me if I am wrong). I will only be attending conferences for few days.

Can you please answer my earlier post considering it is Business visitor visa.

Thank you very much
