which one should I apply ILR ( indefinately leave to remain or FLR(FP)

Post by walid2024 » Fri Jul 12, 2024 12:50 pm

hello guys,
I am new here, all I need is an advice on what type of visa I should apply, this is my story after nearly 19 years in united kingdom . I came here as a student in 2005 with a student visa , got married in 2011, switched to spouse visa but in in 2011 my application was denied due to lack of funds which I had to wait till 2014 when I made another application based on discretional circumstances, so in 2015 I was given a visa FLR (FP) partners route which was 2.5 years granted, in 2018 I made another application which I was granted another 2.5 years till 2021 and in 2021 I made another application based on the same circumstance which I was granted 2.5 years until the end of July 2024.. so now I need to apply for another visa based on family route but me and my partner are thinking is it worth to apply for indefinitely leave to remain or should I continue with the FLR (FP)? please help us...…. please note I have four children all born in UK to a British national and my eldest one is nearly 10.

You've been placed on the 10 year path to ILR. you have to finish it. You can't skip 1 year and jump to ILR.please help us...…. please note I have four children all born in UK to a British national and my eldest one is nearly 10. Unfortunately, your children have nothing to do with it.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
