ILR

Post by KKwame » Mon Apr 29, 2024 2:14 pm

Hello Team,

My first BRP date is 8/8/2019
Clearance visa 19/08/2019
Entered the UK 21/08/2019.

Am I right to use 8/8/2019 in my ILR calculation?
If I use 8/8/2019 then the earlier I can apply for my ILR on 10/07/2024. 28days prior to 5year.

Considering the queue in getting a date for biometrics, can I submit my application the first week in June say 7 June 2024, and select by biometric day on 11 July 2024?

Does this fall in the 45-day rule?

Thank you.

Re: ILR - exceptionally complex issues

Hey mate, I had my biometrics on 10th July 2024 (Tier 2 skilled worked - ILR route and priority) and received an email on 15 July that my application raises exceptionally complex issues hence further time required. No additional information requested and I am just anxious. Any had the same issue and how long did this take.

This is fairly common and there is no reason to be anxious. UKVI needs more time to decide on your application, which could take a few weeks now rather than just a few days.
