Hi
If one has recently been successful in obtaining a 6 month visit visa does that make it more difficult for the casework to reject the next visa application on the basis that they think the applicant will not leave the uk?
Had to add a lot of documents to get the initial visa as caseworker had rejected multiple times previously due to them thinking applicant will not leave the uk and wondering if the same needs to be done for future applications.
Context: visited the uk and returned home. Want to apply for another visit visa once visa expires.

Nothing prevents you applying. Though you should not be seeing living in UK under the guise of visit visa.

It's more that if someone has been to the uk and left on time then is it still valid for the case officer to say they are not convinced the applicant would leave the uk because the evidence they have is that the applicant has shown to be compliant.
Also, would official tax documents i.e. self assessments be sufficient evidence to show assets value and savings e.g. property, or does this need to be actual valuation certificates and all banks statements where money is held? Applicant can show bank statements for income proof but for savings they'll need to show multiple banks which seems excessive.

All applications are decided on their merit. To a large extent, you're correct. However, this isn't cast in stone. Example, if one travels to the UK frequently and stops for about 10 years. Your next visa application could be rejected. Because your circumstances would have greatly changed in that time frame.

If applicant keeps money is multiple places, it would be nice to show all. Or where the bulk of money is. Self assessment is good, but you can't take that to the bank "literally".
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
